SERVICES
KAY-JEN provides two primary tailoring services: Bespoke and Made-to-Measure.
Bespoke offers a fully customized pattern-making experience with meticulous handiwork. Each garment is personally measured, drafted, and cut by Matthew, our Headcutter, before being passed to specialized coat and trouser makers for completion.
Made-to-Measure offers a faster option, using pre-designed patterns with slight adjustments, finished neatly with machine work.
Our Custom Shirts program creates elegantly fitting shirts in a range of styles, with a selection of quality fabrics and attention to detail in the finishing touches.
THE PROCESS
01. APPOINTMENT
KAY-JEN operates by appointment only, offering obligation-free consultations for new or curious clients interested in tailoring services.
02. CONSULTATION
During this phase, detailed measurements are taken, and personal preferences are discussed with the Headcutter, who guides clients through the design process and fabric selection.
03. FITTING
Scheduled approximately 4-6 weeks post-consultation, clients try on the initial garment draft to assess comfort and identify any necessary alterations. Patterns are updated accordingly for future use.
04. COLLECTION
Around another 4-6 weeks later, the completed garment is ready for collection. If no further alterations are needed after a final fitting, clients can collect their garment, with any additional adjustments promptly addressed.
